Optional Coverage
Additional Insured – is an entity, such as, a landlord, corporation, or another person, that requests to be named on your policy. The purpose of this coverage is if the AI entity is named in a claim that was a result of your actions, the AI entity will be defended by your policy. This coverage can be added for an additional $10 per entity. AI coverage is provided upon written request and the issuance of endorsement.

General Liability (GL) – insurance covers other potential risks a healthcare professional may encounter. These risks include premises liability or slip and fall, personal and advertising injury, medical expense coverage, enhanced products liability, and fire legal liability.

Business Personal Property – can cover the named insured for lost, stolen, or damaged property of the business, such as equipment, furniture, or other business property that is not a permanent part of the building structure. The limit of liability is $10,000 and there is a $500 deductible (not offered in New York, Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois).

Additional Insured (AI) – An entity, such as; a landlord, corporation, or colleague, my request to be named on your insurance policy as an additional insured. The purpose of this coverage is if you are accused of injuring someone, the AI entity may also be named in that cause of action. The AI entity wants to be protected from this potential risk by being named an additional insured on your insurance policy. This coverage can be added for either $10 per entity if you are going to share in the same limits of liability or $40 if you choose to each have separate limits of liability.
Professional Liability Insurance $1,000,000 per occurrence, $3,000,000 aggregate limits of liability.
